Parador Explores Design Legacy and Global Growth on SURROUND Presents

“Innovation is iterative,” says Neel Bradham, managing director and CEO of Parador. In a recent episode of SURROUND Presents, recorded live at NeoCon 2025, Bradham joins Helene Oberman, managing director of Interior Design, to explore how the German flooring manufacturer is evolving its global presence through design precision, sustainability, and a people-first mindset.

The conversation follows Parador’s recent expansion into the U.S. and its broader efforts to support architects and designers through customizable, environmentally responsive flooring systems. Collections like Modular One, developed in response to demand for non-vinyl resilient materials, and Louvre, shaped by handcrafted detailing and classic European formats, underscore its design-led approach.

Bradham emphasizes the importance of listening to local markets and adapting to regional needs, a theme that runs throughout Parador’s approach to global expansion. “Strategy is set on the street,” he says. “It can come from a salesperson in Berlin or Shanghai or London, or here in Chicago.”

Sustainability is a central thread in the conversation, surfacing as a framework for decision-making that shapes how Parador builds, collaborates, and plans ahead. “You have to believe in where you’re trying to go and what you’re trying to do,” Bradham says. The company reinforces this vision through solar-powered production, compliance with rigorous European third-party certifications, and a reforestation partnership with Plant-for-the-Planet.
