An L.A. Office That Doubles As A Sanctuary Of Botanical Discovery
Set amid cascading greenery, a whimsical Los Angeles office space begins to bloom. Designed by NONI Design House, the landscape and interior styling was visualized by Inner Gardens, allowing them to create their own compelling botanical installation.
Encompassing 30,000 square feet and reaching four stories, this LA office has been transformed into a botanical retreat that invites a fresh perspective on blending work with nature. To soften the building’s hard lines and sharp edges, NONI and Inner Gardens partnered to introduce potted trees, lush greenery, and hanging vines, to ensure balance between the natural world and the functionality required of a high-performance workspace.
NONI Design House Gives This Office A Fresh Perspective

With a focus on their organic narrative, NONI ensured that the botanical concept was continuous across all four levels. They achieved this by creating a seamless rhythm from floor to floor utilizing wood tones, layered marble, and botanical fabrics and wallpapers to mirror the complexity of nature. Hand-picked furniture crafted from leather and age-worn wood added to the grounded, earth-like experience, and architectural elements feature sinuous curves that soften the rigid office structure. This rich material language trails across every level, resulting in one fluid, cohesive, and fully immersive vision.
Norella Carboni Amiel of NONI Design House shared how biophilic design was the top priority, shaping every decision. “Our approach was to layer natural elements in strategic areas where people pause, connect, and reflect, while ensuring that focused work zones remained adaptable and efficient. The result is a workspace that is both highly functional and deeply restorative.”
Feel Restored At This Biophilic Office

In an effort to achieve a blend between traditional workplace and botanical retreat, NONI collaborated with Inner Garden’s to integrate biophilic elements into their spatial narrative. Functionality remained a top priority throughout the installation to turn each specimen into a piece of living art.
“The biggest challenge was sourcing plant material that could thrive in low light while still feeling sculptural and unexpected.” Jana Feifer of Inner Gardens shared. “Our goal was to bring in as much green as possible while letting key pieces stand out.” These sculptural plants were paired with character-rich planters from the Inner Gardens collection to complement their form and embrace the verdant environment.
This LA office space is more than a workplace, it’s a place of discovery. Moving from intimate corners to sunlit expanses, Inner Gardens and NONI Design created a biophilic atmosphere that celebrates the natural world and inspires functionality.
